About Us

Vantage Enterprises Ltd administers a community access day program and a wide variety of homes throughout the Calgary community for adults with a developmental disability. Vantage receives funds through the provincial government to provide these services. Guardians/families are welcomed to take an active role in process.

All clients within Vantage have a cognitive impairment which may be accompanied with physical, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.

Vantage creates programs that match client/Guardian's vision of service. Vantage is driven by it's Mission and belief statements, and proven quality of service record. On going formal and informal reviews and evaluation occurs in all program areas.

Vantage was created by M. Brenda Huntley in 1997 from a belief the services could be delivered in a manner that were personalized and not riddled with bureaucratic systems. The uniqueness and adaptability of the service is reflective in this small agency mentality and remains a cornerstone. Agency standards are formally evaluated through a process called Creating Excellence Together (CET) by the Alberta Council for Disability Services, every three years. As well as yearly internal reviews occur. Self satisfactory surveys occur annually by clients, guardians and staff. These act as a barometer to direct effectiveness on ongoing care.

The three themes that fuel our direction and goals are: a good life for all; right relationships; family connections.
