I am so happy with the programming and the staff at Vantage. I really appreciate the smaller number of clients and the fact that this allows for more individual care for each client. We have found Vantage to be very receptive to any suggestions as to new things to try or for things Kate needs to learn. Kate is also very happy at Vantage and that means a lot to both my husband and me.

I had just finished University with a BA Degree in Psychology and Crime and Community. I was in dire need of employment, but all the jobs in my field required work experience in which I had none.

This is about the time that I came across the job listings for Vantage. I wasn’t entirely sure what the position of Community Rehabilitation Worker entailed, but I figured I would give it a shot. After all, it would give me some work experience.

After working at Vantage for a couple of weeks I realized this job meant more to me than just work experience. I became attached to my clients and soon grew very fond of them. It really felt great to be the person that would make a difference in someone’s life or numerous people’s lives. I began to see how truly great all of my clients were in their own individual ways. 

The staff at Vantage was incredible as well. They all welcomed me with open arms knowing that I greatly lacked experience in this field. They had an abundance of patience with me and were always willing to help me in whatever problems I faced. I was able to make some good friends.

Unfortunately, I have to leave Vantage to pursue a career in the field I was meant to work in. I walk away from Vantage with a big impression left on my heart. My clients have all meant so much to me and they have really opened my eyes to what life can be like and how you should love life and never give up no matter what obstacles get in your way. I have made many great friends with the staff. They have not only been co-workers but friends. I thank everyone at Vantage for a great time, and for being so awesome to me. I will miss everyone!

I enjoy working with Vantage Entreprises as it is a very flexible and caring organization. Vantage Entreprises believes in its mission to ensure supportive and inclusive opportunities are created and maintained for everyone. Every person is recognized as an individual with their own interests and desires. Vantage makes every effort to ensure the individuals we support determine their own goals and program in the community. Vantage also encourages a team approach where staff and supported individuals work together to achieve and maintain goals. I also appreciate that Vantage is very supportive of staff as well in our supportive role in the community inclusion program.

I like Vantage Entreprises because I get to meet lots of nice people. I get to make a lot of new friends. They helped me get a lot of jobs, and they support me. I enjoy bowling, swimming, ceramics classes, and teaching people sign language. Vantage also has me in drama classes. I like socializing and talking to other people. I like my karate class.

As the guardian of several clients at Vantage I have observed how they provide a caring and nurturing environment for each individual they serve. I have seen them go above and beyond in providing services that give their clients a full range of experiences allowing them to become as independent as possible.

I like Vantage Entreprises because it is lots of fun. I get to do all sorts of good things. We go to lots of different places. We go to job sites. I have three jobs. I like having a job. I do lots of fun things. I like bowling, bingo, movies, swimming, and fitness classes. I like meeting people and making friends as well.
